Vulnerability Scans can be performed via network scans or using agents installed on devices.
Network Scans can be performed on a scheduled basis or on demand by either the ITS Tenable team or by the Michigan Engineering security team. If would like network scans setup for your networks please email [email protected]. Please include the following information the email.
- Networks to be scanned
- The preferred date/time of the scan
- Frequency of scans
- Format of scan report
- CSV
- HTML
- XML
- Group email to receive scan report
Agent scans can be performed on a scheduled basis or on demand by either the ITS Tenable team, by the Michigan Engineering security team, or by departmental IT groups. If you would like access to be able to perform your own agent based scans please email [email protected] with a list of users for access as well as the agent group name for the scans.
